Iván Ferencz graduated from ELTE University of Budapest, Faculty of Law in 1995. He started his professional career as legal trainee in the company Csemege-Julius Meinl Rt. He became a legal adviser in 1998 and was appointed as chief legal adviser of the Lakáskassza Building Society in the same year. After the merger of the company he took over the position of the chief legal adviser of the mergered Fundamenta-Lakáskassza Building Society in 2003. He has been the member of Management since 2006 and he has been working as a director for law and compliance since 2013. Currently Dr. Ferencz is head of Banking law working group of the Hungarian Lawyers’ Association and he is member of the Arbitration Court on financial and capital market. In 2000, Dr. Ferencz obtained a postgraduate degree in banking law, and in 2009 in European law at the University of Budapest ELTE, Faculty of Law.
