Krisztina Grimm graduated ELTE Faculty of Law, after which she started to work at the Hungarian Competition Agency as a case handler mainly working on cases concerning the services sector. She finished her LLM in Munich in the field of regulation of General Terms and Conditions. Upon returning to the HCA she joined the Consumer Section as the senior case handler responsible for the financial sector. She lead numerous cases and also took part in HCA’s work in shaping the new financial regulation in Hungary in the light of the financial crisis. She became Head of the Consumer Section in 2012. She regularly gives speeches on consumer protection at conferences, workshops and seminars and is the author of more than one scolarly articles.
