Mark P. McKenna is Associate Dean for Faculty, Professor of Law, and Notre Dame Presidential Fellow at the University of Notre Dame Law School.
Professor McKenna is widely recognized as a leading scholar in the trademark area, having published a number of articles in leading law journals on the topic of trademark law. He has also written extensively about design patent, copyright, the right of publicity, and the intersection of intellectual property rights regimes. He is the author of The Law of Intellectual Property (with Craig Nard and Michael Madison). His work has been cited in the United States Supreme Court and in a number of lower federal courts. He has been a visiting faculty member at Stanford Law School, the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center, Max Planck Institut für Immaterial Güter- und Wettbewerbsrecht.
