Piotr Adamczewski is the Director of Office of Competition and Consumers Protection (UOKiK) Branch in Bydgoszcz, Poland. He graduated from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland where he completed law at the Faculty of Law and Administration as well as international relations at the Faculty of History. Additionally, he studied law at University of Gutenberg in Mainz under the Erasmus program and participated in a professional internship in Irish public administration under the Leonardo da Vinci program. He became a certified Legal Advisor in 2011.
He has been working for UOKiK since 2005. He started his career as a specialist in an UOKiK Warsaw branch and continued it successfully in Bydgoszcz where he assumed the position of the Deputy Director in 2008 and the Director in 2014. He repeatedly represented the President of UOKiK in numerous court cases.Piotr Adamczewski is the author of a number of publications in the field of competition law and consumer protection, the speaker at conferences and workshops as well as training sessions which include practical aspects of competition and consumer protection organized by the European Commission for future member countries of the European Union.
